Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what Aasan Tax collects when you use aasantax.pk. In short, the calculators run in your browser and we do not receive the figures you type into them. The sections below give the detail.

What the calculators do with your figures

Every calculator runs in your browser. The amounts you enter are used for the calculation on your device and are not sent to our server. They are not saved in cookies or in your browser’s storage either, so they disappear when you leave the page.

What we collect

Like most websites, our hosting servers record standard technical logs. These include your IP address, the pages requested, the date and time, your browser type and the referring page. We use them to keep the site secure and working, and the host keeps them for a limited period.

There are no user accounts, comments, newsletters or contact forms, so the pages collect no names or email addresses. We use Google Search Console as the site owner, and it reports aggregated search data to us without reading your activity on the site. Visit statistics come from the analytics tools described below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and similar third-party analytics tools to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages they open and which devices they use. These tools use cookies or similar identifiers and collect details such as your approximate location, your device and browser, and the pages you view. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and we use the reports only to improve the calculators. You can block analytics through your browser settings, a content blocker or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

Analytics tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to tell visits apart. We do not set cookies for any other purpose, and the calculators store nothing in your browser. A team member who logs in to the admin area also receives login cookies. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time.

Email you send us

If you email contact@aasantax.pk, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and to check the issue you report. We keep correction emails while we work on the fix and for a reasonable time after, then delete them. Please do not send your CNIC, bank or card numbers or passwords.

Third parties and links

Pages link to official sites such as FBR, PTA, NHA and the excise portals. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we do not control them. Our hosting provider delivers the site and processes the server logs on our behalf. Google provides the analytics service described above.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email contact@aasantax.pk and we will act on a verified request. The only personal data we are likely to hold is the email address and message you sent us.

Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Questions about privacy can go to contact@aasantax.pk.
