About Aasan Tax
Aasan Tax is a set of free calculators for Pakistani tax and government fees. They cover salary tax, mobile load tax, PTA duty, token tax, property tax, rental income tax, car import duty and motorway tolls. Each tool shows its working, so you can check the answer against your own bill or notice.
We built the site because official schedules are long, change with every budget and are hard to read on a phone. Our job is to turn them into a short form and a clear result. Every number should trace back to a source you can open yourself.
What Aasan Tax covers
Every calculator follows the same layout. You enter a few figures, the tool applies the notified rate, and the page lists the rate, the working and the source. These pages are the main entry points.
- Income tax slabs, rental income tax, sales tax and mobile load tax
- Token tax for every province, with pages for Punjab and Islamabad
- Car import duty and motorway tolls
- FBR property tax on buying, selling and gains, and annual property tax
- PTA tax, iPhone PTA tax, the IMEI check and mobile registration
Who runs the site
Aasan Tax is built and maintained by a small independent team. We are not part of FBR, PTA, NHA or any provincial or Islamabad excise office. We are also not a law firm, an accounting firm or a tax consultancy. The site is a reference tool and cannot file a return, register a phone or take a payment.
We write as a team and do not publish personal profiles. Accountability sits with the pages: each one shows when its rates were last reviewed, names its sources and links to the corrections process. Anyone can check a page against the sources it names.
How we keep the numbers right
Rates come from the Finance Act, FBR and PTA notices, provincial excise schedules and NHA toll notifications. We check them again after each budget and whenever a source changes. When a figure rests on a secondary report, the page says so. The methodology page explains the full process, and you can report an error from the contact page.
Cost and your data
The site is free to use. The calculators run in your browser, and nothing you type into them is sent to us. We use Google Analytics to count visits, and it sets cookies. The privacy policy lists exactly what the site collects.
Report a wrong rate
Spotted a wrong rate or an outdated notice? Email contact@aasantax.pk with the page link and the figure you expect. We verify it against the primary source and correct the page.
